Children’s Workshop

Adult Workshop

In conjunction with the Sewall House

Workshop day led by Serena Wessely:

The group took a hike to Shinbrook Falls focusing on the lack of human noise pollution, and was led in

a sensory meditation at the falls highlighting the subtlety in each of our senses.

The group drove to my house in Patten, and was provided lunch.

We took a walk among wildflowers, trying to identify plants in our surroundings.

The participants were asked to list 5 things they were grateful for on the inside of a blank card.

Using pressed wildflowers from the area, the participants collaged a summer scene on the front of the card.

Once done, each individual mailed the card to their house to receive once they had come home from the retreat.

Lastly, participants were given a choice between two quotes from “The Alchemist” which pertained to personal legends and our mental health journeys.

We went around in a circle sharing our favorite quotes and any reflections.
